The government is set to introduce a blended learning model in selected renowned schools in metropolitan and city corporation areas from next week, combining in-person and online classes.

“We are planning three days of in-person classes and three days online,” he added.

The minister said the system would initially be introduced in metropolitan and city corporation areas, but not across all schools.

He also noted that teachers will remain present at their respective institutions even while conducting online classes.

The government will take steps to address technical challenges, including improving internet connectivity and Wi-Fi facilities. “No decision will be imposed in a way that disrupts the education system,” he said.
